Target will launch its Beauty Studio concept in about 600 locations on Sept. 10, about a month after its Ulta Beauty partnership ended. The spaces will feature over 1,600 products from 90 brands.
More than two-thirds of the brands are new to Target, according to a company announcement Wednesday. Dyson, Sunday Riley, St. Tropez and Boy Smells are a few of the brands featured.

The mass retailer on Sept. 26 will hold in-store celebrations from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. local time, where the first 100 customers in most locations will receive a Target Circle bonus to shop Target Beauty Studio in store and online. Select locations will also offer additional giveaways.
"When guests shop for beauty, they want to pick up their standbys while also exploring what's new and trending, and Target Beauty Studio is designed with that mix in mind," Amanda Nusz, senior vice president of merchandising, essentials and beauty at Target, said in a statement. "It's an inspiring destination to discover what's new, now and next in beauty — and a powerful example of how our merchandising authority comes to life through an elevated guest experience."
The new information on Target’s Beauty Studio concept comes about a week after the company’s second quarter earnings showed strength in the category. Target’s merchandise sales during the period grew 5% year over year, with beauty jumping about 7%.
Target Beauty Studios will include dedicated beauty adviser employees, product testing for select merchandise and an assortment of minis.
