Dive Insight:
Stitch Fix Vision has expanded so users can create images of themselves in recommended looks.
Previously, Vision sent out personalized outfit imagery to clients once a week. With this expansion, users can generate images of themselves on demand in looks that Stitch Fix suggests.
The company introduced Vision in October 2025. The company drew from its “billions of data points” about a client’s preferences, generative AI and the expertise of Stitch Fix Stylists to deliver personalization at scale, Matt Baer, Stitch Fix CEO, said when the tech first launched.
“Vision helps bring this future to life by combining our deep understanding of each client's preferences with AI to offer personalized style inspiration,” Baer said in a statement last week. “As we expand Vision, we're making it easier for clients to discover new styles they'll love, as well as find more ways to wear the pieces they already own.”
Stitch Fix’s Vision update follows the company’s successful third quarter. Its Q3 net revenue rose 4.7% year over year to $340 million, marking the company’s fifth consecutive quarter of growth. Its number of active clients also grew from the previous quarter to 2.3 million.
On the heels of its growth streak, Stitch Fix brought in a new tech exec to oversee the company’s data science, product, IT and technology employees. In mid-June, the company named Sree Sreedhararaj as its chief product and technology officer, succeeding Tony Bacos, who’s set to retire on Aug. 1. Before joining Stitch Fix’s executive team, Sreedhararaj held previous roles at Walmart Labs, Sephora and Ipsy.
