Aligning around Amazon’s Prime Day dates this month, the Walmart Deals savings event will run from June 22 through June 28. Walmart+ members will receive 24 hours of early access to select online products, according to a company announcement Tuesday.
The dates come as Amazon moved its Prime Day savings event to June this year, happening earlier than 2025’s July dates. Walmart’s sale similarly shifted this year, as the Walmart Deals dates in 2025 ran from July 8 to July 13.
Target earlier this month announced its Circle Deal Days event will occur from June 23 through June 26, also marking a move up from the company's summer sale event in July 2025.
To promote Walmart Deals, the retailer created a fictional boy band named Alwayz and a campaign song titled "Catchin' Feels." Shoppers can participate in the savings event online, in Walmart’s app and in stores nationwide.
Walmart’s announcement of the event on Tuesday did not highlight specific merchandise included in the sale this month, instead noting offers will be available across “electronics, fashion, toys, collectibles, furniture, skincare and more,” per the announcement.
That differs from the company’s announcement in 2025, which highlighted products on sale from Samsung, Vizio, Dyson, Sharpie and more.
The Walmart Deals dates come a few weeks after the retailer’s CFO John David Rainey told analysts that Walmart anticipates price increases in Q2 due to heightened fuel costs. The company took a roughly $175 million hit to operating income from higher-than-planned fuel costs, the executive said on a Q1 earnings call in May.
