Yahoo’s Marissa Mayer claims Tumblr is now fastest-growing social network over Instagram
Two weeks after announcing her plans to spin off Yahoo’s massive stake in Alibaba, CEO Marissa Mayer is championing another one of her company’s major acquisitions. Speaking at the Goldman Sachs Internet conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, the embattled head of Yahoo touted the growth of Tumblr, the blogging network that was purchased by the company back in 2013 for $990 million.
