Facebook Inc introduced a slate of new advertising products on Sunday, most of which are aimed at luring television advertisers onto the 1.5-billion user social network. The advertising options, most of which will also be available on Facebook-owned Instagram, are designed to take advantage of the social network’s strengths on mobile devices.

Apple sells 13 million iPhones over weekend
The results fall in line with most analyst estimates calling for first weekend sales ranging between 12 million and 13 million. A key factor in the higher figures: early availability of the new phones in China.
