Retail futurist Doug Stephens returns to the podcast to talk through how his predictions on Amazon Go, malls, bankruptcies and more really played out.

At the start of the year, Retail Prophet CEO and Founder Doug Stephens made his debut on our podcast, Conversational Commerce, with 10 bold predictions for the year.
Some served as a prophecy; Sears filed for bankruptcy, Amazon Go has recalibrated consumer expectations and brands have realized they don't need retailers to scale. Other predictions, like Amazon acquiring Restoration Hardware and Walmart buying Wayfair were shots in the dark that so far haven't come to fruition.
On the show, Stephens breaks down how each of his predictions played out and how those trends will evolve in the new year. You'll hear all this and more in this episode, so sit back, relax and listen. You can stream the episode below or subscribe on iTunes or Stitcher.
