Dive Insight:
Loft and Ann Taylor’s new loyalty program comes as other retailers are improving their incentive programs to attract customers and simplify their rewards.
In May, Saks Off Fifth introduced a new loyalty program, which offers incentives such as points on the dollars they spend, members-only sales events and birthday rewards. In August, Bath and Body Works introduced its national rewards program, alongside its app, where customers can shop, earn rewards points and view exclusive content. Like Ann Taylor and Loft, other retailers are also rolling out programs that span across brands, like Gap Inc. did last year. Nike also aligned its loyalty program with wholesale partner Dick’s Sporting Goods in November and has continued that strategy with other key retailers it sells through.
Ann Taylor and Loft’s new joint loyalty program aims to provide a customer-centered shopping experience across all of its brands.
“From elevating the service experience to reinforcing the power of community, StyleRewards creates an emotional connection with our customers and deepens our relationship with them, while offering clients even more rewards for shopping the brands they love,” Lucy Yi, senior vice president of digital and customer marketing at Ann Taylor and Loft, said in a statement.
