Target debuted a three-day sales event, dubbed Target Circle Deal Days, happening from March 25 to March 27, per a company release Monday. The move marks a reduction in the number of days during its March sales event, which was a week long in 2025 and called Target Circle Week.
The change is meant to concentrate “the experience into three high-impact days,” the retailer’s press release noted. This month’s savings event includes deals on select toys, women’s apparel, skin care and more. Members of Target Circle 360, the company’s paid membership loyalty service, will get 24 hours early access to select deals.
"As we head into spring and summer, consumers are craving newness and value, so we're spotlighting the season's hottest trends with big deals," Sarah Travis, executive vice president and chief digital and revenue officer at Target, said in a statement. "Whether refreshing their spring wardrobe, giving their home a seasonal update or discovering new beauty favorites, this three-day event brings together the season's most sought-after products — paired with incredible value and the joyful, easy experience guests expect from Target."
Competition between major retailers — such as Walmart and Target — and Amazon’s Prime member sales has heated up in recent years, with the competing events growing in duration.
Amazon’s Prime Day event in July of 2025 was expanded to four days for the first time. The e-commerce giant also introduced a “Today’s Big Deal” section to the e-commerce event, which featured a themed daily drop of products with deals refreshing regularly throughout the day.
Target’s sale this month will also feature its "Deal of the Day" offering again, which it included in its Target Circle Week events in 2025.
Walmart also expanded its savings event in July of 2025 to six days, up from the four days in 2024, with paid Walmart+ members also receiving early access.
Amazon this March is holding its own spring savings event again, called Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, lasting about a week from March 25 to March 31, with exclusive deals for Prime members.
