Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. named Jill Windrum as its chief accounting officer and deputy chief financial officer.
The executive will lead the accounting and financial reporting organization “while partnering across the enterprise on financial planning, controls, integration, process improvement, and the continued development of a scalable finance organization,” per a Thursday press release.
Windrum brings almost 25 years of experience to the retail group, which includes multiple financial leadership roles at Maxar Technologies. She’s taking on the principal accounting officer position at Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc., replacing CFO Brian LaRose in such role, per a Thursday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
“Jill represents exactly the caliber of leader we want on this team,” Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. Marcus Lemonis said in a statement. “She has the technical foundation, public-company experience and operating judgment to help us execute at a higher level.”
Windrum will receive an annual base salary of $400,000 and is eligible to receive an annual cash performance bonus. Her appointment is effective Aug. 31, per the filing.
LaRose joined the retailer as CFO in April after serving as The Container Store’s CFO since March 2025. He also has prior finance leadership experience from Petco.
The announcement comes after Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. last week announced it is changing its corporate name to Neighborhood Intelligence and will begin trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol NXH, effective Monday.
