GoMining is launching GoMining Gifts, a dedicated platform that lets anyone give a digital Bitcoin miner as a gift, including recipients who have never held cryptocurrency. Buyers choose a miner, add a greeting card and a personal message, and receive a single link to send by message, email. Recipients open the link, press one button to activate the miner, and it begins sending Bitcoin rewards to their GoMining account from that point on.
Unlike a gift card, which is spent once, or a subscription gift, which requires ongoing payments, a digital miner is paid for in full at purchase and continues operating for the recipient afterward. GoMining Gifts is available in eight tiers priced from less than $20 for Atom to over $2,800 for Infinitum, with prices subject to change in the future, corresponding to miners ranging from 1 terahash (TH) to 155 TH of mining power, each issued at an efficiency of 12 watts per TH. The range is designed to fit a variety of budgets and occasions, from a small gesture to a larger, more symbolic gift such as a wedding or a new home.
Recipients can track mining activity and BTC balances in real time through the GoMining app and withdraw funds at any time. Bitcoin rewards vary with network difficulty, the Bitcoin price and maintenance costs, and are not guaranteed. Purchases can be refunded in full within 30 days provided the gift has not been activated. Availability is subject to local rules and regulations in each market.
