On this Tuesday, 2, Renata Zacarias, head of growth Brazil of the e-learning platform Udacity, spoke about the challenges and opportunities in the education sector. During her talk, she commented that in the education market there was no disruptive technology yet and exposed some challenges and opportunities in this niche.
According to Zacarias there will be a strong insertion of artificial intelligence in the Brazilian education market 10 years from now. "16 million Brazilians will be impacted with automation and artificial intelligence until 2030", she said.
Renata contextualized that less than 30% of Brazilian credit cards are international, that less than 3% of the Brazilian population speaks fluent English and reveals that a good part of credit cards' limits are used in education in the reality of Brazilian e-learning. "Most people need to compromise their credit card limits to study," explains.
Market on rise
Zacarias ended the speech presenting a data that can change the reality of e-learning in Brazil. It points out that 63% of companies with 10 or more employees are unable to fill positions that require qualified professionals and that e-learning is the way out for this challenge.
