Yoobi Announces Launch of All-New “Yoobi for Business” Site Aimed at Companies Looking to Make an Impact in 2017
The site will allow businesses to source their office supplies through Yoobi, enabling them to impact thousands of additional students per year through their buy-one-give-one program
Los Angeles, California (February 6, 2017) – Yoobi – an innovative school and office supplies company that gives back – today announced the launch of their all-new B2B site: Yoobiforbusiness.com. The site allows businesses to easily purchase their office supplies through Yoobi, enabling them to impact thousands of additional students per year through the company’s buy-one-give-one program.
Founded in 2014, Yoobi operates on a “One for you, One for me” model – for every Yoobi item purchased, Yoobi donates an item to a U.S. classroom in need. The classrooms are typically defined by their non-profit partner Kids In Need Foundation as K-5 classrooms in schools where 70 percent or more of its students qualify for free or reduced lunch through the National School Lunch Program.
“As we start off a new year it is important for businesses and consumers alike to re-evaluate where we purchase our everyday supplies,” said Yoobi Co-Founder and CEO Ido Leffler. “We are so excited about the launch of Yoobiforbusiness.com and to share this incredible new way to make an impact as it will give businesses the unique opportunity to give back simply by sourcing their office supplies through our platform.”
Since their founding in 2014, Yoobi has impacted more than two million kids. This comes at a critical moment as we enter the new year and as research shows teachers spend an average of $500 per year of their own money on supplies for their students.
“Pepperdine has found a perfect alignment with the values of Yoobi which provide quality office supplies while investing in the community,” said Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education & Psychology Assistant Vice Chancellor Dr. Kerri Heath. “We love the design of Yoobi products, but more importantly we appreciate and share the mutual goal to serve our local school children and classrooms.”
Yoobi has recently hosted citywide Give Days – events where they donate to schools in-need and visit with teachers, administrator and students – in New York, Washington DC, Inglewood, and Baton Rouge and is planning additional events in cities around the country for 2017.
In addition to selling existing Yoobi products, Yoobiforbusiness.com will offer an option to customize office essentials and ship them in bulk. The new website will also allow customers to host backpack drives through Yoobi’s backpack bundle program.
