Dive Insight:
After a soft launch in November that saw “strong early momentum,” Quince is marking its first international expansion by launching a website in Canada.
The e-commerce retailer is “focusing initially on building and strengthening our operational foundation,” Kelly Olsen, head of Canada at Quince, said in an email. “This early introduction reflected sustained demand from Canadian customers eager to access Quince’s signature craftsmanship, premium materials, and lasting value.”
The expansion marks a “meaningful milestone for Quince," Laurent Duray, head of international at Quince, said in a statement. "We've heard from Canadians for years who wanted easier access to our products, and we're excited to now deliver a seamless, localized experience."
Quince secured $290 million in Series D funding last year to help it accelerate growth. The brand has moved to expand into new categories, including by selling a curated selection of gourmet food and wine this past holiday season through a partnership with Drinks, an AI-powered SaaS platform.
In early 2025, Quince diversified into electrolytes and collagen. And this month, the brand partnered with A$AP Rocky on an exclusive collection of T-shirts and vinyl for the singer’s latest album.
