Amazon lets shoppers compare prices via Android app
Consumers can use the app to scan a bar code, snap a picture, or say or type a product name to see prices from
Amazon.com, as well as its other online merchants. Shoppers can also buy products via 1-Click and have it delivered directly to their home.
Amazon.com offers millions of new, refurbished and used items in categories such as books, movies, music, games, electronics, home, toys, kids, apparel, shoes and health.
Via the new app, users can scan a bar code in either portrait or landscape mode – a feature that is exclusive to the Android app.

Additionally, shoppers can snap a photo and instantly match the picture to books, DVDs, CDs and video games.
Users who do not want to scan a bar code or snap a picture can simply say the product name to receive item matches and pricing.
Shoppers can also use the app’s search functionality to find the ideal item that they are looking for.
