Dive Insight:
Many retailers are a bit behind consumer expectations when it comes to the blurring of lines among all channels, and will increasingly turn to tech experts to catch up. Look for more robust efforts by all retailers, even those without their own tech incubators, to obtain the level of expertise required to meet those expectations, which range from payments to inventory and pretty much everything in between.
