Pickie is (was?) a great example of a content, marketing, and shopping blend almost perfectly perfect for mobile. It’s no wonder that Retailmenot scooped them up. No doubt the app will be reconstituted under Retailmenot’s umbrella, and here’s hoping the coupon marketplace doesn’t muck about too much with the magic.
