NetSuite Inc. is buying Bronto Software, bringing together a major e-commerce platform and an online marketing automation firm. NetSuite supplies order management software, customer relationship management (CRM) services and fulfillment to more than 3,000 companies, including dozens of the nation’s largest retailers.
With Bronto’s e-mail marketing capabilities, the companies will be able to better integrate inventory and customer information into clients' marketing messages. Both companies are growing fast, and will continue to operate separately. Worth $200 million, the deal is expected to close in the second quarter of 2015.
