If it wasn’t clear before, it’s become clearer: Consumers would like to be able to shop via their smartphones and tablets. The trick for retailers is to do this right because sticky, slow, or overly intrusive apps get deleted, or at least ignored. To be sure, retailers have a lot to think about these days as they develop effective omni-channel marketing and shopping platforms.
