Retailers are already thinking about the winter holiday season, but another festive occasion stands between now and Christmas — Halloween.
Halloween shopping should see an uptick this year, according to analysis from the National Retail Federation (NRF). The trade organization predicts a total spend of $7.4 billion on costumes, candy, decorations, and more. Top costumes include box office-inspired characters from Disney's Frozen and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, as well as the traditional witch or Batman garb for adults.
