Job Description

Required work experience: 1-3 years

Full-time, remote work

DoMyWriting is looking for an experienced newsman for remote work in fulltime. We treat authors who work outside the office, as well as staff members. But we are waiting in response to full-fledged work. If you are applying for an employee's rate in the office, then for this we have a separate vacancy.

Primary requirements:

You must have media experience of at least a year.

You must understand modern media, be able to find news on Reddit and Twitter

You need to navigate the political and cultural agenda, to know the main actors, to understand how many pages is a 500 word essay and how to write it.

You must be responsible and hardworking, ready to analyze your actions and learn from mistakes and do it quickly enough.

What to do:

Find and write interesting stories

Follow what is happening in the world and social networks, invent topics

Come up with announcements for social networks

Get off on time

What conditions:

5 working days, 2 weekends, 9-hour shift from home

Salary following an interview (delays in salary are not allowed)

Holiday 28 days, day-offs, sick pay, etc.

Young, ambitious and extremely friendly team

Human corporate style

Sane management that can teach a lot

Qualifications

Everything like that now:

You need to send a letter with a story about yourself. In the cover letter give links to your accounts on social networks.

Attach a standard resume

Resume without a cover letter we weed out

We only charge candidates with significant media experience (texts, news) to the remote bid, we exclude newbies (you can try to bet on the office, it’s easier to receive)

The removed author is for us the same employee as the editorial staff in the office, with all the rights and benefits due, but we will require full involvement in the work. Combine, earn some money, stand on this rate does not work

If everything goes well, we call a candidate for an interview, then we offer to work with us for one test day, and then we make a final offer for salary

If you do not pass on any of the requirements, but consider that it is yours, send a resume anyway, but explain in a letter why we should pay attention to your candidacy.

Be sure to write a letter and send a resume if:

It became crowded and boring in the format of traditional media.

Looking for a place to work where it will be interesting and informative and there is an opportunity to seriously grow

Like an entertainment format, and you see the future in it

Good luck!
