Based on a whopping 35 billion product-page views and more than 57 million product reviews, this new study from leading customer rating and review company Bazaarvoice says that there’s a direct correlation between numbers of reviews and sales conversions.
Why? Google and other search engines reward pages that include reviews and freshen content regularly. Just a handful of user-generated reviews can add dozens of SEO-ready keywords to product pages, as well as include many of the common misspellings other websurfers might use when searching.
