Inviting nominations: Mobile Commerce Awards 2015
Mobile Commerce Daily is inviting nominations for the Mobile Commerce Awards, the most prestigious recognition honoring outstanding mobile commerce and retail work by retailers, financial services institutions and transaction-focused marketers.
Comprising 10 categories, the Mobile Commerce Awards acknowledge consumer- or business-focused strategic, tactical and creative thinking and execution by retailers, banks and transaction-oriented marketers using mobile in the multichannel mix. The winners will be announced next month.
“Mobile commerce is continuing its upward trajectory of growth, adding incremental sales to the retailer’s bottom line while also accommodating channel shifts to suit the consumer’s convenience,” said Mickey Alam Khan, editor in chief of Mobile Commerce Daily and Mobile Marketer, New York.
“Retailers and financial services firms are increasingly prioritizing mobile knowhow and expertise to deliver seamless shopping experiences, fully in the knowledge that quite often the journey begins on a smartphone or tablet and ends up in-store or on the computer or the mobile device itself,” he said. “Mobile commerce is now table stakes, no question about that.”
This year’s Mobile Retailer of the Year winner will follow in the footsteps of those who took a risk and won. Macy’s was last year’s Mobile Retailer of the Year, Target was 2013 Mobile Retailer of the Year and Walmart was 2012 Mobile Retailer of the Year.
